It feels like a decade

It’s been over 730 days since I published a blog post and that seems incredible.

Needless to say, a lot has changed in the last year…

No. 1: I’m inside a hockey rink the majority of the time
No. 2: I LOVE playing golf again… so much that I’m signed up to play in my first competitive tournament since….. 2011, yes you heard that right.

I’m not sure what has rejuvenated my incredible adoration of golf, but I’m going to guess working in hockey definitely has played a factor in it. I mean, what hockey player doesn’t enjoy playing golf right? Trust me, I don’t consider myself a hockey player, I actually fell over the first time I put on those skates… the white ones were so much easier to skate on.

Regardless, the comparison between the two sports is truly unique and they nicely compliment each other, ‘typically’ with contrasting peak seasons… (I say typically because I just spent the last 21 days inside a rink, in August!)

That being said, with the support of family, friends, and followers it was brought up to me I should consider chronicling my journey again from a PR and athletic standpoint.

What I do these days is pretty neat and I won’t be here to criticize or post opinions on either sport but to simply share my observations and experiences in hopes of inspiring others to play, or to work in this amazing industry which leads me into post 1… ‘I’m terrified to be introduced on the 1st Tee’
